“HUNTING THE ALIEN”

Now that the world knows his dark secret, Hyperion suddenly finds himself both alone and hunted. Four new super-powered individuals -- each based on a character from the original Squadron Supreme -- are after his hide, and they’ve got the will and means to take him down!

After the new team, which consists of Dr. Emil Burbank, Arcanna Jones, Nuke, and Shape, find Hyperion. Mark is not very pleased with the notion. Emil makes the team take Hyperion in with any force necessary.

Arcanna tries to find a quatum possibility which will render Mark harmless for a moment and at the same time, nuke fires off a blast a Hyperion. This event causes a strange event which Mark uses to escape. Arcanna feels uneasy about the quatum possibility.

Having failed to retrieve Mark, the team make their way home. As they cross a city, they discover an enormous crater which could only be created by a nuclear blast, but Nuke detects no radiation. Eventually, they see Hyperion in a new suite with a squadron of superheroes with him.

A random pedestrian explains how the world belongs to them now. How the world was torn with heroes fighting heroes, and now that group, is after Nighthawk.
